The Bryant University Student Alumni Association is involved with numerous events throughout the school year. Our programs range from community service projects, fundraisers, special alumni, and social events. Below is a list of what we, the Student Alumni Association, are all about.
Convocation Guides
Members of the SAA gather new students and lead the procession for the start of the academic year. SAA members also act as ushers at the event. Freshmen receive pins from our members which promote a positive welcome to students and builds awareness of our organization. (September)
Dine With Nine
At different times of the year Bryant Alumni host dinner at their homes for SAA members. This is a great opportunity to network and gather information on different career paths. (Throughout the Year)
Homecoming
Alumni and students come together to take part in a weekend of fun and entertaining events where they can cheer on the Bryant University's Division One Football team as it plays against an opposing school. The SAA plays an important role in planning and assisting in the smooth unfolding of these events. (October/November)

Graveyard Cleanup
Every year around Halloween SAA members gather together to help rake the Mowry family cemetery which is located on campus. This event, accompanied by plenty of refreshments and fun, helps build camaraderie among the SAA members. (October)

SAA Retreats
Every year the SAA holds a social event to help SAA members get to know one another better. In 2008 the retreat was held at Dave & Busters (Arcade/Restaurant). (October/November)
Final Exam Survival Kits
SAA members assemble and distribute containers/bags full of stress busters, snacks, and useful items to students during exams with an encouraging message
from their parents. (Marketed to parents in November and April).jpg)
Festival of Lights
SAA sponsors this annual multi-denominational program celebrating Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, and Dawali. This event is the largest community event here at Bryant. Elements include readings from various clergy, sing-a-long to holiday music from various countries and religions, a candle-lighting ceremony in the Rotunda followed by the lighting of the campus Christmas tree and Menorah. Following the ceremony participants gather for hot cocoa, holiday cookies and caroling in the Bryant Center. (December)

Student Alumni Networking Dinner
Alumni are invited back on campus to have dinner with students. This is a great opportunity to network with alumni in the career area of your choice and to obtain valuable advice from alumni as you move towards you career. (April)
Senior Class Flag
Each year selected senior members of SAA design a flag for the graduating class, and display the flag at the commencement procession. This flag is shown every year during the Alumni Reunion Weekend. (May)
Cultural Series
The SAA acts as ushers at the Cultural Series concert to take people's tickets and help them find a seat. (Once a semester)
Regional and National Conferences
The Bryant SAA is a member of a national organization called the Association of Student Advancement Programs (ASAP). Each year, ASAP holds regional and national conferences where select members of the Bryant SAA attend educational sessions and network with other members of Student Alumni Associations from across the country. In 2006, the Bryant SAA hosted the ASAP District 1 Conference. In 2009, we attended the national conference in Baltimore, Maryland. (March and July/August)
